Meeting That Special Someone on Holiday

February 22nd, 2010

Perhaps the traditional notion of holidays is getting away from it all and enjoying some sun, sand and maybe a drink or two. However, one of the fastest growing sectors in the holiday industry is the singles holiday, particularly 5 star cruises singles holidays. This is where people go away to lovely destinations with the goal of finding some like-minded people and hopefully building relationships. Making a good impression on these holidays is not always the easiest thing to do, so here is some advice to help you out.

Get a tan. If you are going to a hot location like you might do on Cunard cruises, you really don’t want to be turning up looking like a milk bottle. First impressions are the most important thing when meeting someone so make sure you have some color to you. You don’t have to be the colour of mahogany, just have a healthy glow that suggests you spend a bit of time outside and care about your appearance

Relax. If you are uptight, nervous or shifty no one will want to talk to you. Most often everyone on singles holidays are in the same boat so to speak and will be much more receptive if you just be yourself and let your guard down a little. If the situation were reversed and you met someone very nervous, your advice would probably be to calm down and don’t worry. You just need to convince yourself to trust your own advice

Enjoy yourself. It really is not the end of the world if you don’t meet anyone you like and you should not worry about it if you don’t. Your still on holiday and you should enjoy it as you would any other. You might meet someone, you might not. But as long as you’ve had fun you won’t feel like you’ve wasted a trip. For singles cruises look at Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Moody Partner?

January 25th, 2010

At some point in our lives we have all had our partners slightly annoyed with us for something ,it has to be a fact of life surely. More often than not they have a very good reason to do so. To be fair, everyone makes a mistake in their life and women are no different it just seems to me that we dont make a big fuss out of it?

However if you have done something wrong you should try and make it up to her and you can do this in a number of ways.

Traditional Means

The following are the ways that you can get into the good books and you really cannot go wrong with these methods at all.

Although something else that is rather sterotypical, choclates are another gift well worth buying your partner, just dont go for the cheap options. You need to have a look around and choose very wisely. Dont go for something too OTT but go for something in between, you dont want to be ripped off for something she is just going to eat.

Flowers can say a lot of things which is why it is something else that many women like to get as a make up present. Again do not go for the cheap options, get some flower delivery service to make it seem like a big thing even though it may not cost a lot. Go for a decent florist to get the best results.

Other Means

There are so many women out there that do not like either chocolates or flowers because they think them as a bit cheesy. There are other, less traditional ways of making it up to your partner and they include, a holiday, a dinner and sitting her down and just saying sorry. On the rare occassion this does work.
