Ok I have taken this holiday choice for one very good reason. This is going to be one of the biggest holidays of the year according to several tour operators. There are a few people that do not research a country they are going to at all, so this should help out a bit. This is where I thought i might be able to help by sharing a small amount of knowledge with everyone!
The flight to Sri Lanka may set you back quite a lot in terms of cash, but once you get there the prices are unbelievably low? There is no much in the way of expenses to pay. You won’t need much money once you arrive, everything is very cheap, it’s just the initial cost. The great thing about Sri Lanka is quite simply the hotels. You will be treated like a king, great room service at all hotels, and at most you will have great day spa facilities. If a Safari is what you would like to try, then you have got to give this a go, this is one of the main reasons people come to this country. If your looking for something fun and exciting then a safari through the Sri Lankan jungles and forests is a sure way to find it. Sri Lanka offers a great experience of fun and excitation for anyone who visits.
This isn’t a holiday without any down falls, there are a few things that you may want to know about it. The weather is one of them, the rainy season comes about around October and through January, and there is no avoiding it. The rain is quite simply torrential. However some down’t mind the rain, the only problem is that this isn’t the nly annoying thing about Sri Lanka. This is a very poor country, and it is still torn by civil war, which you really don’t want to get caught up in. The best way to avoid this is to stick to roads and stay with a guide whenever you venture out into the wilderness. I can’t stand needles, so the injections that you need for certain parts of Sri Lanka simply aren’t worth it for me!
Sri Lanka holidays have become very popular, but if you want something more relaxing and less dangerous, you should try Maldives holidays or Caribbean holidays!
