The county of Cheshire is the perfect UK destination for a mini break thanks to the variety of the activities and places it has to offer to the visitor. It’s certainly a county worth seeing, but you’ll need a hotel, Cheshire has too much to do in a day. Two or three days is a much more realistic amount of time.

Fans of history will simply love the Roman city of Chester, which is possibly Cheshire’s best known and loved city. Museums and historical sites line the city. The fashionable city also offers great shopping days as well as the races and beautiful river walks.The city also has the advantage of being very close to Liverpool and Manchester for an even bigger shopping day out.
Visitors who bring their own car will find getting around this large county easier, but transport links are good. Location and accessibility are factors when choosing a hotel, Cheshire has a lot! Possibly the most prestigious hotel Cheshire has to offer is Crewe Hall which is simply beautiful. It is also the perfect place to indulge in a little fine dining and relax after a hard day sight-seeing and shopping.
