Disney World Group Package Deals

June 3rd, 2011

If you are a travel coordinator for a church group or youth groups planning on coming to Disney World then God bless you…you are in for one heck of a task! Here are a few tips which might help you.

  1. Expect last minute cancellations- Typically a large group planning on coming to Disney World will have around 5% to 7 % cancel just prior to their money being due and it is always good idea to expect one more cancellation just prior to the vacation. Most group coordinators figure everything up in price per person and this is the smartest thing to do. The only problem with this method is when you have last minute cancellations the price per person usually goes up to avoid this we recommend adding 10% the price of everyone’s package. If you do not have any cancellations and you have extra money left over then you can take the group out for “FREE” ice cream or do something fun with the money.
  2. Go through a Disney Authorized Ticket Provider- The Disney World tickets are going to be your biggest expense, and Disney give youth groups and churches huge discounts. Shop around and look for the best deal you can save up to $50 off each Disney World ticket by going through a Disney Group coordinator.
  3. Notice the cancellation clauses- Nearly 75% of all groups who plan a Disney World vacation never actually make it here. If you and your group have put down money on a vacation be aware of the cancellation clause.  Remember most families will say they are going all the way up to the time that money is due, then they will come up with a list of excuses why they cannot make it. The best practice is to have the deadline for the money to be at least 2 weeks prior to the cancellation deadline…this way it gives you plenty of time to salvage the vacation or cancel it all together.

We hope these three tips help you in planning your Disney World group vacation. If you need further assistance you might want to 1-800-641-4008 for more information.

Two Theme Parks not to miss

December 8th, 2009

You can easily find that people have travelled all over the show to different places across the globe in pretty much all parts and remote places. The alarm bells then start going off with the major question on where you plan to take your next holiday. The simple fact of the matter is that there are more than 200 countries in the world, so it’s not always easy to choose where exactly you want to go. Don’t give up however as here is a few ideas that will get you thinking again. Resort and theme park holidays are a great idea for the young ones and adults alike. It seems at the juncture you are back to where you started with so many places to choose from and not really certain which is best

Granted, there are going to be some people that may disagree with this assessment, but the consensus is that America offers the best for these holiday types. The Europeans offer some interesting parks, most notably Disneyland in Paris. None of tjeir parks however (in my opinion) live up to what is offered in the States.

Consider these two:

Walt Disney Florida vacation packages is something definite to consider. Visitors really come from the far reaches of the globe to experience the world of Cinderella, Goofy and all your favourite characters. This park is huges as it consist of 4 massive parks and also 2 other water parks for those warmer days. The fact is that its is so huge that you will need at least a good seven days to go through the park in a relaxed fashion. Experience the Magic Kingdom Park and see your favourite Hollywood stars in Hollywood Studios. Quite often you will find that the weather is great and sunny in this region. If this is the case you can enjoy the adventures in the two water parks – Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard beach. For your reference it’s also wortwhile to note that the parks are all situated in the Sunshine State of Florida.

If Disney is not the kind of thing you are looking for, then here’s an idea. People of all different shapes and sizes always enjou a Universal Studios vacation. You will find that it’s easy to reach this park as it can be found in Orlando in Florida. The beauty of this particular park is that it os owned and managed by Universal Studios. They are the well known film producers. All the rides are therefore based on the many films they made over the years. Become a part of the silver screen in ways that you would have never imagined.

These two places are both excellent ideas and great destinations that is suitable for the whole family. These two parks both do two things that are essential for a good break, i.e. relief you of your stress and make you forget your troubles.
