Teen Gets Singing Chance at ‘American Idol’ on Disney Vacation

Some people make the most of every opportunity. Most people would not do it on their Disney vacation though. Casi Morvant is truly unique. In fact, she is a unique teenage that turned her vacation into the opportunity of a lifetime. Not everyone gets a shot at their life long dreams but Casi did not mind taking a chance while singing at Disney’s American Idol Experience.

Singing in front of a large audience is not new for Casi Morvant,  who is a seventeen year-old senior in high school who was third in this year’s Center Stage talent competition in Houma.

She’s trying to get in front of an even bigger audience — like the one that watches  the television show “American Idol”on the Fox network — and got some big help this week coming closer to her life long dream.

Casi won a Dream Ticket for her performance at Walt Disney World’s “American Idol Experience,” a daily attraction at the Disney resort  that is modeled after the hit  TV show with a live audience and contestants.
