Benidorm hotels offer family fun on holiday

Family friendly holidaying is within easy reach in the shape of Spain and its ideal family destination: Benidorm. This seaside resort town on the Costa Blanca near Alicante boasts over six kilometres of calm, golden sand beaches that are among the best in Europe. What sets the city apart for other destinations of its calibre, however, are its multitude of tourist focused amenities and facilities and the huge range of cheap Benidorm hotels.

From the busy waterfront of Levante Beach in the east to the quieter Poniente Beach in the west, there is plenty to keep families entertained here. For those looking for less thrills but just as much fun, there are numerous wildlife parks, including Terra Natura and Mundomar, which encourage direct interaction with the animals.

Another natural option that also provides panoramic views of Benidorm and the sea from its hilltop perch is Cactuslandia, a large cactus garden and natural history museum. Those after a spot of shopping, meanwhile, will enjoy the wonderful markets in Benidorm, including the Benidorm Outdoor Market and El Cisne Flea Market.

With so much on offer, from over 1,000 restaurants, 800 bars and 41,000 hotel beds, you could fill your holiday with activities many times over just in the city itself. There is even more to see out of town, with breathtaking destinations, including Algar Falls and Canelobre Caves, all available to explore on a day trip. Also, the famous Green Tour company offers free environmental day trips all over Costa Blanca.
